ITWatch has once again written about SecureFirst as a follow-up to its article from last year. This
comes as several of the company’s investors have now become more actively involved in the
day-to-day operations.

SecureFirst is thus strengthening its organization following a period of rapid growth and increasing demand for
from Danish companies.

“We have seen strong growth over the past year, with more than 100% quarter-
. At the same time, we are seeing a clear trend in the market. IT security has become more
comprehensive, and many companies today have more tools than they actually use
effectively. This creates a lack of overview and makes it difficult to work in a structured way to
build their cyber defenses,”

says CEO Dion Grydell.

Several of the company’s investors have become more actively involved in the organization, and Aiman Rafii has joined
as Chief Growth Officer and co-founder.

“We’re seeing a clear demand from companies that want a simpler and more
structured approach to cybersecurity. That’s exactly the problem we’re working to solve,”

adds Aiman.

A market characterized by complexity

Many small and medium-sized businesses today manage cybersecurity across
multiple systems, vendors, and requirements.

This creates complexity and makes it difficult to:

  • get an overview
  • prioritize efforts
  • document the work for management

SecureFirst was developed with the goal of bringing these areas together into a single platform and making
more manageable in practice.

A single, unified platform for cybersecurity

SecureFirst offers a comprehensive platform that combines:

The goal is to enable smaller IT departments to manage cybersecurity in a structured manner
without the need for multiple separate tools and vendors.

Funding and support for the next phase

Since 2023, SecureFirst has raised a total of 7 million DKK in pre-seed capital from both new investors
and existing shareholders, and has received support from the Danish Export and Investment Fund (EIFO).
The capital will be used to further develop the platform and scale the business in line with the
growing demand.

Focus on the next step

SecureFirst was founded by CEO Dion Grydell. Since then, CTO Philip Ø. Klein has joined the ownership group and has helped further develop the platform. “Our focus is on continuing the development we’ve initiated, while making it even easier for companies to approach cybersecurity in a structured way in their day-to-day operations,” says Dion Grydell.

Zero-day vulnerability in Microsoft Defender

Zero-day vulnerability in Microsoft Defender

A new zero-day vulnerability—known as Redsun—shows that even advanced security solutions like Microsoft Defender can be bypassed. For businesses, this means that cybersecurity isn’t just about technology, but about people, processes, and understanding risk.
Zero-day vulnerabilities require a more mature and layered approach to IT security.
