From Idea to a Comprehensive Cybersecurity Platform
SecureFirst was created with a simple goal: to make a robust and proven cybersecurity defense accessible to IT teams with limited time, budget, and cybersecurity expertise.

SecureFirst is founded
Dion Grydell and Philip founded SecureFirst and began developing a platform designed to make cybersecurity more manageable, structured, and accessible.
The First Customers and the First Platform
In March, SecureFirst will onboard its first paying customers. Later this year, we will launch the first full version of the platform, featuring tools for cybersecurity assessment, compliance, digital risk monitoring, and vulnerability management, among other things. SecureFirst is also selected to participate in Web Summit in Lisbon.
Commercial Launch and New Investors
SecureFirst is carrying out the official commercial launch of the platform. At the same time, experienced business professionals with backgrounds at companies such as esignatur are joining as investors and active partners in the company.
International recognition and proven growth
SecureFirst is selected to participate in both Bits & Pretzels in Munich and Web Summit in Lisbon. This is the second year in a row that SecureFirst has participated in Web Summit. Over the course of the year, we launch version 2 of the platform and create a scalable sales model that has resulted in 100 percent quarter-over-quarter growth since the commercial launch.
Funding for the Next Phase of Growth
SecureFirst has closed a total pre-seed funding round of approximately 7 million Danish kroner, including funding from EIFO. This capital will enable us to make further investments in the platform, the organization, and our continued growth.
From 2 to more than 10 employees
SecureFirst has grown from 2 to more than 10 employees in about 16 months and is moving into new offices covering approximately 300 square meters. At the same time, we are expanding the platform with a new LMS solution, more targeted awareness training, an improved phishing engine, and a course catalog featuring more than 100 videos in over 75 languages.

Our approach is built upon recognized frameworks such as CIS18, NIS2, and the AI Act. This provides organizations with a robust foundation to document their security posture, comply with regulations, and ensure coverage through cyber insurance policies.

How does SecureFirst protect our data?
All data is securely stored within the EU, ensuring full GDPR compliance. We employ encryption,
access control, and continuous monitoring of our own systems. Customer data is never
shared with third parties and is not utilized for AI training.
How can we be assured of SecureFirst's own cybersecurity posture?
We operate according to the same principles we recommend to our clients – including CIS18 and
ongoing awareness training for our own employees. This commitment means we constantly
test, refine, and document our security processes.
